Co-Founders Santiago Navarro and Joe Revell, who launched Garçon Wines following several years of research and development for their advanced wine packaging design, said the award win came as fantastic news for the company and they are thrilled that Garçon Wines is being acknowledged as a business that is revolutionising wine retailing, storage and delivery in the UK and internationally.

This year’s awards received 227 entries from over 33 countries around the world and the winners across 25 categories were celebrated for their excellence and innovation.
Garçon Wines is already gaining an international presence and Co-Founder Santiago was invited as a guest speaker at the Retail and Brands Festival in The Netherlands earlier this month. The IP for their portfolio of Bordeaux and Burgundy slimline wine bottle designs was granted in the UK in November 2016 and in May 2017, the IP was extended to cover 35 countries internationally. The iconic design of Garçon Wines packaging conforms to the traditional Bordeaux and Burgundy wine bottle shapes, but the flattened design and lightweight, recyclable glass-like plastic means the bottles require less shelf space and are significantly lighter.
For the ultimate in delivery convenience, the bottles fit easily through a letterbox, as a result of the unique bottle shape and are tough enough to withstand the delivery process yet lightweight enough to go through the postal system.
