Crater Lake Spirits originated in Bend, Oregon, with the idea of creating spirits inspired by the cascade mountains.  In 1996 this was an idea as unique as its national park namesake, and that creative mindset can still be seen in their products. America’s most award-winning small-batch distillery started with a simple gin and vodka and has grown to ignite a cocktail revolution with their original blend of infusions and craft cocktails. Crater Lake Sweet Ginger

A 70-proof vodka infused with candied whole-root ginger crystallized with natural sugar cane.  The sweet and spicy infusion gives off a little warmth but ends with a hint of sweetness you’d get from a ginger beer or a Moscow Mule.   The drink works refreshingly well on its own thanks to the subtle taste of sweetness, but Sweet Ginger Vodka also does well with some simple additions that can turn anyone into an expert mixologist.

Crater Lake Rye Whiskey

It takes a step away from the distillery’s flagship gin and vodka and goes back to a time when family operations commonly supplied their towns with spirits.  This 80-proof straight American whiskey is crafted from 100% rye grain and pure cascade mountain water.  Its peppery spice grabs attention from the sister spirits of its home distillery and establishes this whiskey as a force of its own.  The two-year aged whiskey is never chill filtered and serves as a throwback to the tradition lost during the Prohibition era.

Crater Lake Northwest Berry

A heavier-bodied infusion that is rich in color and taste. The rich earthy flavors of the whole fruit combined with the smooth, warm finish, give this vodka a more hearty feel than you’d expect from a vodka. Made with a blend of seasonal berries sourced from small farms across the Pacific Northwest, this Crater Lake creation achieves the delicate balance between sweet and tart. The slightly syrupy consistency makes it perfect for sipping or mixing.

Crater Lake Pepper Vodka

It is a great addition to any bar.  This versatile 80-proof vodka is infused with five different peppers to make a flavorful spicy blend.  Bloody marys are the optimal drink to build around, but, for anyone that appreciates a little spice, this spirit is perfect to sip on its own.  The heat is a fun contrast to a drink typically served with ice, yet it’s subtle enough to enjoy without burning away your senses.  It would also pair well with a variety of foods ranging from a nice compliment to cheeses to creating a sweet/spicy combo with desserts.

Cocktail Inspirations

Bend Berry Cobbler

Mix together:

• 2 oz Crater Lake Northwest Berry Vodka
• 1 oz Elderflower Liquer
• 1 Small Eggwhite

Shake, then add

• 2 ox sparkeling wine

Dust with

• Cardemom

Sweet Ginger Mai Thai

Mix together:

• 2 oz Crater Lake Sweet Ginger Vodka
• 1 oz Spiced Rum
• ½ oz Bitter Orange Liquer
• 4 oz Lime Sparkeling Water

Garnish with

• Slice of Lime
