Avitae Presents Carbonated Caffeine Water

Avitae Presents Carbonated Caffeine WaterAvitae USA, LLC, the leader in the caffeinated water category, has secured national distribution with CVS Health to offer consumers a healthier way to get a natural energy boost from caffeine, without drinking soda or energy drinks. The retailer now carries the company’s carbonated caffeine water, “Sparkling Avitae,” in two natural fruit flavors – Black Cherry and Raspberry Lime. Sparkling Avitae is available in 464 CVS Health locations nationally, further strengthening Avitae’s position in the beverage market and as a leader in the caffeinated water category.

The distribution news comes on the heels of CVS Health’s move to devote more space to healthy snacks, food and beverage options and less space to junk food and sugary drinks.

“We’re excited to be a part of CVS Health’s commitment to helping consumers live healthier lives with more nutritious snack and beverage options,” said Norman E. Snyder, president and chief executive officer of Avitae. “

Avitae is healthy hydration that not only provides consumers with the instant-go they are looking for to power through their day, but also a zero-calorie, zero-sugar beverage option they can feel good about.”

Sparkling Avitae contains natural caffeine derived from green coffee beans and has the caffeine equivalency of one cup of coffee (90 milligrams). Produced with purified carbonated water, it has zero calories, sugars or artificial ingredients. Avitae is the only caffeinated water brand to be carried by CVS Health and will retail for $1.77 per 16.9-fluid-ounce (500-milliliter) bottle.

In addition to the products offered at CVS Health, Sparkling Avitae is available in two other fruit flavors, Berry Kiwi and Mandarin Passion Fruit, and an unflavored version. Avitae also offers three non-carbonated, unflavored caffeine waters that vary in caffeine level.

The 45-milligram and 90-milligram caffeine-level products are equal to a half-cup and a cup of coffee respectively, and the 125-milligram-level is equivalent to the amount of caffeine in one and a half cups of coffee. The company also offers four non-carbonated, natural fruit-flavored caffeine waters – Blackberry, Tangerine, Pomegranate Acai and Strawberry Guava.

Avitae recently introduced a line of extended-release energy drinks, “AvitaeXR,” that feature patented bead-based technology that controls the release rate of caffeine to give consumers up to four hours of energy without the crash. The energy drink gives consumers an initial caffeine boost of 125 milligrams before the beads slowly release an additional 125 milligrams. AvitaeXR contains 70 calories and is available in three flavors: Orange, Mixed Berry and Lemon Lime.
