PepsiCo launches Nutrition Greenhouse incubator for startupsPepsiCo is launching a collaborative innovation program, a ‘mutual learning academy’ called the PepsiCo Nutrition Greenhouse, where entrepreneurs and early-stage emerging brands in nutrition and health & wellness will partner with PepsiCo to accelerate their growth.

In PepsiCo’s Nutrition Greenhouse, up to eight early-stage companies will be paired in a 6-month program with PepsiCo executives and senior managers, going through a flexible curriculum of topics related to all aspects of growing a brand.

Participants selected for Nutrition Greenhouse will receive a €25,000 grant and entry into the 6-month incubator program with in-person learning modules and virtual events. At the completion of the program, one winning company will be awarded a €100,000 prize to further its growth.

About the process

This application process will collect and compare company, brand, management and business plan information using the information supplied by applicants. An independent review committee of external reviewers will select 12-16 finalists who will meet in person or virtually with senior PepsiCo executives who will select up to eight participants in the 2017 program. Program participants will be asked to sign a grant acceptance agreement to receive their €25,000 grant,. Program participants will be assigned two or more PepsiCo mentors.
