Preparations are well underway to make Milan the capital of Food and of FoodTech. The third edition of Seeds&Chips, the Global Food Innovation Summit – SaC17 will take place in Milan from 8 to 11 May 2017, bringing together the best of worldwide food innovation. The most innovative companies in the AgTech & FoodTech sector, universities, institutions, investors, accelerators and incubators and hundreds of start-ups from around the world will participate in the Global Food Innovation Summit.
Seeds&Chips has always had a pink soul. In the past edition, 1 out of 4 speakers at the Summit was a woman. This year’s edition takes on shades of pink well given that some of the best-known female global influencers in the Food and FoodTech sector will be attending the Summit side by side with the most followed and respected international gurus and be taking part in round tables, conferences and TEDx lectures scheduled over the four days.
Among the Seeds&Chips 2017 – SaC17 female guests and speakers, Kerry Kennedy, President of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, who has been a committed activist and fervent supporter of human rights and of safe and affordable food, for over 30 years.
Danielle Gould, according to Fortune Magazine one of the most innovative women in food & drink, founder and CEO of Food + Tech Connect, the largest community dedicated to food technology and innovation in the world; Diane Hatz, Founder & Executive Director of Change Food, a creative marketing expert and events innovator who raises public awareness about problems in food and farming while activating individuals to bring about a revolution in food; and, Danielle Nierenberg, President of Food Tank, who can boast many years of experience, study and field work in the field of sustainable agriculture and food-related issues with a particular focus on developing countries.
These are only some of the prominent women who will attend Seeds&Chips 2017 – SaC17 to kick off a Global Food Revolution and to address crucial issues such as the impact of new generations on food consumption, technology innovation applied to the food chain, food security, the importance and benefits of sustainable food production even in large cities, new industry trends and the critical importance of sustaining food innovation.
